The European Union has allocated a total of 14 billion euros to fund a community project which aims to build a platform on which to build web applications that are compatible with any device. The name of this project is Webinos .
With this platform, which among other things will also be open source, application developers will be able to shoot indiscriminately, not only on a PC or a smartphone, but also on the next-generation televisions, the future satellite navigation systems and units information on the machine.
The project led by the Fraunhofer Institute, the one who developed the format. Mp3, give the first probably results in about a year and a half.
